My Mission Statement to all parents with their baby and child sleep issues: I will guide and support parents/parent through a specially designed and tallored plan that with your full support

Throughout my career I have seen the devastating, effects of sleep deprivation, impacting on the physical and emotional health of children and their parents.

As a Health Visitor I set Sleep Clinics and through them gained tremendous satisfaction in advising, guiding and supporting families to improve their child's sleep pattern.

I have a wealth of experience in Child Development and I am familiar with working closely with families in order to achieve the best outcomes for children by enabling them to be confident and reach their full potential.

I have taken my passion of helping parents to a new level by training to be a Sleep Consultant with Karen Bramall who has both national and international acclaim with her 'Baby Sleep the Night' business and as a trainer of Sleep Consultants.

"We were at the end of our tethers when we finally took the plunge and contacted Ann in March 2023. Our 2 year old was getting up 2 or 3 times a night and this had been the case from Day 1 - we were exhausted and despairing! "Ann was recommended to us by some friends who had had a very positive experience in getting their child to sleep better and we have not been disappointed.

In a way I feel like we knew what the challenges were but didn't have the inclination to make any changes because our older child was sleeping so well. However, Ann was able to separate the two and address our youngest's sleep challenges head on. After one initial tough night where we reminded our 2 year, almost 3year old that he didn't need any milk at night and the praise he received when he made it through, he was able to sleep 12 hours consistently. "We were both completely exhausted when I contacted Ann after a friend had a very positive experience. We have a 3 year old and a 14 month old. Our 14 month old was up every 1-2 hours and she had done this from about 16 weeks, we both have had a lot of stress in our lives of late and we really really needed some help.

Ann came to the house on the Sunday and send a plan that night so we could get started. I won't lie the first two nights getting her down was awful. I had so much anxiety about the crying for 40 minutes. However this soon disappeared when the second night she slept 12 hours, we continued the routine and this has continued every night for the 14 days. "We owe a huge amount of thanks to Ann for restoring our evenings and providing us some much-needed time back. Our little boy found it difficult to transition out of the 'next to me' crib into a cot in his own room.

It seems crazy to think back now, but we used to push him to sleep in his pram transferring him into his cot once he was asleep, a process that could take up to two hours each night. If and when he woke up during the night, we would routinely repeat this.

We did this for 6 months!!

Although we were a little sceptical to begin with, having followed the programme and with Ann's expert guidance, our 14 month old is now able to fall asleep on his own. Throughout the two-weeks, we felt fully supported, empowered, and accountable.
